Tyler Courtney wires High Limit weekend opener at Golden Isles

BRUNSWICK, Ga. — High Limit Racing resumed action on Thursday in opening night of the three-day Deuces Wild event with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series at Golden Isles Speedway.

Tyler Courtney led all 25 laps from the pole to notch his second straight series victory and the $10,000 payday over Brent Marks and Justin Peck. Marks finished 1.352 seconds behind Courtney.

Courtney, who started his night third-quickest in time trials before winning the FK Rod Ends Dash from the pole to put him in the drivers' seat, got out to fast a start — leading by 1.5 seconds four laps into the running — and never let up from there. Spencer Bayston started 10th and finished fifth.
