USMTS Cajun Clash April 12-13 at Boothill Speedway
GREENWOOD, La. — The Summit USMTS National Championship presented by RacinDirt will be back in action this Friday and Saturday, April 12-13, at the Boothill Speedway in Greenwood, La., for the 11th Annual USMTS Cajun Clash.
The Summit USMTS Modifieds will be joined both nights by a trio of Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series classes including USRA Limited Mods, Sunoco USRA Factory Stocks and USRA Tuners. The track’s Sportsters will round out the five-division card on Saturday.

Each night will pay $5,000 to win for the Best of the Best in dirt modified racing.
This will be the first time that the popular dirt track just outside of Shreveport will be hosting the long-running event.
Former USMTS Cajun Clash champions include Duke Whiseant, Jason Hughes, Johnny Scott, Chris Henigan, Jake Gallardo, Cade Dillard, Hunter Marriott, Zack VanderBeek, Terry Phillips and defending champ Tyler Wolff. All of those wins occurred at the Ark-La-Tex Speedway.
Hughes and Jack Sullivan are past winners at the Boothill Speedway when it was a huge 7/16-mile oval. Hughes did it twice in the series’ three trips to the “big track.”
In 2011 Kelly Shryock got the first USMTS win on the new 1/3-mile configuration, with Stormy Scott following him in 2013.
Rodney Sanders is the most recent winner, getting the job done in 2020.
