I-35 Speedway returns to action this Saturday May 11

WINSTON, Mo. — Third time is a charm, at least that is the old saying as we try again to get week 5 of the 2024 racing season in at I-35 Speedway.  I-35 Speedway the track that consistently races every Saturday through the month of October provided the weather cooperates.  Mother Nature please be nice for Mother’s Day weekend!

It will be Midwest Trailer Depot - Cletus Mudcat Murray Memorial Weekly Racing.  All the weekly classes, USRA Modifieds, USRA Medieval Stock Cars, USRA B-Mods, E-Mods, Pure Stocks, Sport Compacts, Junior Sport Compacts, and Late Models will be in action on the fast 3/8 mile. Make your plans to be part of the racing excitement and hear the thunderous race engines roar this Saturday, May 11, 2024.

Race time is 7:00 P.M.

For the fans... I-35 Speedway is located at EXIT 64 off Interstate 35 (1/4 mile east of the Interstate).  Free Parking.  Mom approved restrooms. 

General Admission $15, Seniors (age 62+) and Military $12 admission, and ages 18 and younger are free (ID may be requested).

A variety of track food favorites are available at Trackside Bar & Grill (Turn 1) serving tenderloins, hot fries, chicken strips, burgers, and an assortment of appetizers, Sugar Shack (Turn 1) is the spot for funnel cakes, deep fried Oreos, root beer floats, and pretzels.  The main concession (inside entrance gate, turn 4) is the place to find walking tacos, hot dogs, hamburgers, popcorn, candy and much, much more. 

Be on the lookout for the Molle Auto Group Upgrades with suite seats, pit passes, and food vouchers each week! 

Fan of the Week...be sure to pick up your Fan of the Week ticket at the front entrance gate. 


For the racer...

Regular Racing Hours - Pit Gates open at 4:00 pm.  Driver's meeting and pill draw close 6:00 pm.  Hot Laps 6:20 - 6:50 pm.  First heat race:  7:00 pm.  Pit Passes:  Drivers $35, Pit Crew and Pit Spectators $40, Kids 6-10 $25, Kids 5 and under are free.  

I-35 Speedway Driver Registration:  Register with I-35 Speedway (myracepass.com) or print form at I-35 Speedway – Dirt Trackin' at its best! complete and bring with you.  One-night temporary registration $15. 

USRA Classes:  You must be registered with USRA, only temporary one-night licenses can be sold at the track $10. Alternative B-Mod USRA rules apply.  Check out the USRA website usraracing.com.

Fuel (110 and Premium) is available for sale at the track.  We are stocked with American Racer Tires and Real Wheels (contact Mike Johnson 816-365-7592). Also available are Champion Race Products (oil, power steering fluid, brake fluid, and gear oil). 

Minors (17 and under):  Everyone age 17 and under must have a completed Minor's release to enter the pits. 

Competitors Minor's Release:  Must have a completed Minor's release for all competitors 17 and under AND it must include a copy of your birth certificate with either a valid state stamp or authentic seal.
