Persistent rain forces cancellation of Friday night World of Outlaws program at Williams Grove
MECHANICSBURG, Pa. — With persistent heavy rain Thursday night continuing into Friday morning, and more projected through the day in Mechanicsburg, PA, World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car and Williams Grove Speedway officials agreed to cancel night one of the HVAC Distributors Morgan Cup presented by Daikin.
Night two, on Saturday, May 11, is still on as scheduled with World of Outlaws and PA Posse drivers battling for the coveted Morgan Cup.
If you purchased a reserved ticket through the World of Outlaws in advance for Friday’s race at Williams Grove, you will receive a face-value credit to your MyDirtTickets.com account – good for two years – to be used toward any World of Outlaws event available at WorldofOutlaws.com/tix. If a credit to your account does not work for you, then you have until June 10 to request a refund.
