GRANITE CITY, Ill. — In his 22nd try on Saturday night at Tri-City Speedway, Brent Marks finally added his name to the record books as a winner with Kubota High Limit Racing - becoming the 12th winner in series history.

Coming from the fifth spot, Marks padded his pockets even further thanks to the DURST Dice Roll - bumping his payday to $14,500 at the Granite City, IL oval. For Madeline, the lucky race fan went home with $2,500 after rolling a five and watching the Murray-Marks Motorsports #19 drive to the win.

With Marks coming from row three, fans watched Justin Peck beat Hunter Schuerenberg on the initial start and promptly lead the opening 18 laps aboard his Buch Motorsports #13.

Just past halfway, it started to get wild as a four-car battle for the lead began with Peck, James McFadden, Brad Sweet, and Brent Marks chasing each other through lap traffic.

Marks was able to wrangle the lead away on Lap 19 and held on for the duration to net his first-career win with Kubota High Limit Racing. It wasn't without a little drama, however, as Marks clobbered the turn four wall with about five laps remaining and knocked the right rear ladder out of the car, then had to hold off Brad Sweet on the final green-white-checkered restart.

The victory for Marks snapped a three-race win streak for Brad Sweet, who brought his Kasey Kahne Racing, NAPA Auto Parts #49 home in second-place. Justin Peck put his Buch Motorsports #13 back on the podium after leading the opening half.

Rico Abreu, Tyler Courtney, Hunter Schuerenberg, Cory Eliason, Corey Day, Zeb Wise, and Chris Windom rounded out the top-10.
