T Hibner, Leathers, Hanes star at I-35 Speedway
WINSTON, Mo. — Another exciting week of racing has come and gone at I-35 raceway, this week being our Harold Robb Sr. Extravaganza with a $1000 dollar prize going to the winner of the sports compact feature, won by Brad Mick, second in our point standings for sport compacts.
Tyler Hibner won his fourth feature this season in the USRA Modifieds, as did Chris Leathers with his fourth in a row in B Mods. Nic Hanes continued his domination of the Medieval USRA Stock Cars, surviving another week of a bounty and winning all 7 feature events this season.
Jakub Hisel won his fourth feature of the year, closing the points gap between him and leader Bubba Silkwood to 43. E Mod points leader Kameron Hanes won his fourth feature expanding his lead over Michael Hascall.
Grant Sheetz won his sixth feature, now winning all features he’s participated in. The Vintage Open series made its reappearance after a few weeks hiatus, with some exciting racing between Mike and Ron Lefholz, with Ron taking home the win.
