NEWMANSTOWN, PA. — Steven Snyder Jr would perfect the evening even after a work-area visit to win Preliminary Night One of the third yearly installment of the Keith Kunz Motorsports Challenge presented by Start2Finish TV to claim his seventh career victory with the POWRi Non-Wing Outlaw Micro League at the outstanding hosting Clyde-Martin Memorial Speedway.

Going through a strong split-field of thirty entries on prelim night one of the POWRi Outlaw Non-Wing Micro division in the KKM Challenge would find Steven Snyder Jr set the quick qualifying time with a time of 11.118 seconds. Steven Snyder Jr, Thomas Kunsman Jr, Zak Gorski, and Gunnar Pio would each emerge victorious in heat racing action with Steven Snyder Jr, Thomas Kunsman Jr, and Neal Allison all earning wins in qualifier competitions as Robbie Smith would gain the semi-feature win.

Flying onto the smooth Clyde-Martin Memorial Speedway surface for Preliminary Night One feature racing for the opening night of the Keith Kunz Motorsports Challenge presented by Start2Finish TV would see high-point qualifier Steven Snyder Jr battle outside front-row contender Thomas Kunsman Jr as the green flew with Snyder gaining the lead then dropping from leading contention on the second lap with mechanical issues forcing him to the work area and the back of the restarting field.

Resetting the lineup with Thomas Kunsman Jr, Kole Kirkman, Neal Allison, Gunnar Pio, and Brecken Reese within the refiring top-five as Thomas Kunsman Jr would begin to set the speed standard in the opening laps.

Mounting an intense and thrilling charge back towards the front would witness Steven Snyder Jr return to top-five contention around lap ten with Thomas Kunsman Jr leading as caution would bunch the field back together with Snyder grabbing the runner-up position to restart.

Throwing dramatics into the mix the original starting front row would find the leading Thomas Kunsman Jr set the pace ahead of the front-to-back-to-front running Steven Snyder Jr with Neal Allison, James Roselli, and Kole Kirkman rounding out the top five.

Restarting with perfection would find Steven Snyder Jr snatch the lead on lap thirteen with James Roselli running the bottom into the runner-up spot as one-time leader Kunsman and Neal Allison battled within the lock-in positions around the mid-race point.

Undeniable in domination, Steven Snyder Jr held steady up front for his second yearly POWRi Non-Wing Outlaw Micro victory as James Roselli would finish in the closely contended second spot from starting tenth with the leader of eleven laps Thomas Kunsman Jr finalizing the podium placements.

“I don’t know what happened early, everything just kind of shut off down the backstretch, I’m just grateful for this team for giving me a bad fast car and all of the support,” said the victorious Steven in the Clyde-Martin Memorial Speedway victory lane for Preliminary Night One of the PA KKM Challenge. Adding, “I knew we had a very comfortable car and could drive where other drivers couldn’t run, I’m honestly just as shocked as anyone to be here after the work area trip”.

Hard-charging from starting sixteenth, Brent Shearer would place fourth in the final auto lock-in position as Kole Kirkman rounded out the top-five finishers in the POWRi Outlaw Micro League feature in Preliminary Night One of the Keith Kunz Motorsports Challenge presented by Start2Finish TV at Clyde-Martin Memorial Speedway.
