24th Annual Tom Wilson Memorial Special Event Up Next at Central Missouri Speedway

WARRENSBURG, Mo. — Central Missouri Speedway is primed and ready to host the 24th Annual Tom Wilson Memorial on Saturday, July 6, honoring the track’s long-time announcer and PR person. Featured races of the night will include a $3,00-to-Win POWRi B-Mod main event along with a $1,000-to-Win Unsanctioned CMS Pure Stock Special.

Joining the headliner classes will be POWRi Super Stocks and Midwest Mods. All car classes will participate in preliminary qualifying heat races, B-Mains if necessary, and Main events throughout the night. After the final checkered flag of the evening, a full Patriotic-Themed fireworks display will take place over the speedway.

B-Mod Info:  $75 entry fee for track-registered drivers. $90 entry for non-track registered drivers. Entry fee includes driver pit pass. B-Mod Payout:  1) $3000, 2) $2000, 3) $1000, 4) $900, 5) $700, 6) $600, 7) $500, 8) $450, 9) $400, 10) $350, 11) $300, 12) $250, 13th to 24th $200.

Pure Stock Info:  $50 entry fee for track-registered drivers. $65 for non-track registered drivers. Entry fee includes driver pit pass. Pure Stock Payout:  1) $1000, 2) $600, 3) $500, 4) $400, 5) $300, 6) $250, 7) $200, 8) $175, 9) $150, 10) $150, 11) $150, 12) $150, 13) $150, 14) $130, 15) $125, 16) $120, 17) $115, 18) $110, 19) $100, 20) $100, 21) $100, 22) $100, 23) $100, 24) $100.

All drivers are VERY STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to review the way CMS operates their race program by accessing the Track’s General Rules from the above link.

“Track Points” will NOT be awarded. POWRi points will be awarded to POWRi classes. There are no “Track Registration” fees for any class for this event; however, for POWRi classes, all non-members must pay $20 temp fee at time of pill draw.

Special Event Adult General Admission $20, Senior Citizens Ages 65 to 74 $15, Active-Duty Military w/I.D. $15, Student w/I.D. $15, Kids Ages 6 to 12 $6, Children 5 and under Free, Senior Citizens Ages 75 and those permanently confined to a wheelchair are free in grandstands.

Timeline:  Pit gates open at 4:30, followed by grandstands at 5. Driver pill draw cut-off is 6:15 (passing points not awarded if driver is late checking in). Pit Meeting 6:30, Practice Hot Laps 7, Racing to follow hot laps. Overnighting at the track is permitted; however, there are no hookups and personnel must haul out what they haul in. All personnel are responsible for cleaning their pit or camping area, no exceptions!
