WARRENSBURG, Mo. — This Saturday, July 27, Super Stocks take the spotlight for their Seventh Annual Super Stock Showdown, featuring a $2,500-to-win, 30-lap main event. B-Mods, Midwest Mods, and Pure Stocks will also be on hand for weekly championship points racing. All divisions will compete in preliminary heat races and b-mains as necessary to set the feature starting grids. There are no provisional starting positions in any classes.
Super Stocks have a $75 entry fee for track-registered Super Stock drivers that will cover pit pass and entry fee, $90 entry for non-track-registered drivers. Track points NOT awarded for Super Stocks; other classes will earn track points. POWRi National Points awarded to sanctioned classes. Other classes will pay $40 pit pass only.

Failed to make the B-Main $40, ran b-Main but did not transfer to A-Main $50.
Historically, this race has proven to be highly competitive and tends to draw the Midwest’s top Super Stock drivers from as far away as Arkansas, Oklahoma, and southern Missouri. However, with the talent-deep field of weekly racers at CMS and close proximity, it will not be an easy task for any travelling hopefuls as multiple-time track winners Aaron Poe, Marc Carter, Blaine Ewing, and Dave Meyer, along with many others will be on their A-game to defend home turf.
The race serves as a warm-up to the season-ending Hog Roast Nationals, also headlined by the Super Stocks in mid-September. Note: mention of driver name does not guarantee race appearance.
On Saturday, pit gates officially open at 4:30, followed by grandstand admissions at 5. The driver’s pill draw cutoff to earn passing points is 6:15 (no passing points if the driver is late checking in). The pit meeting takes place at 6:30, followed by practice hot laps at 7:00, with racing to follow at approximately 7:30.
