FORT WORTH, Texas — When you're hot, you're hot - and Brad Sweet seems to be smoking right now.
The soon-to-be official champion of Kubota High Limit Racing is entering the season finale on Saturday with a three-race win streak, all coming this week at I-70 Speedway, Lucas Oil Speedway, and now Texas Motor Speedway.
The latter of those three, coming on Friday night at the Fort Worth, TX facility, marked The Big Cat's tenth trip to Whiskey Myers Victory Lane in 2024 with Kubota High Limit Racing.
The Texas Motor Speedway 4/10-mile oval was in tip-top shape on Friday night, offering five lead changes in the 25-lap feature. Daryn Pittman led Lap 1, Aaron Reutzel led Laps 2-7, Pittman again controlled Laps 8-12, Brad Sweet entered the picture to lead Lap 13, then Pittman took it back on Lap 14, before Sweet ultimately led Laps 15-25.
Daryn Pittman, aboard the Kreitz Racing #69K - which hauled all the way to Texas from Pennsylvania - came home to finish second in his Kubota High Limit Racing debut.
Ryan Timms' breakout week continued with a third-place effort on Friday night, making it the third-straight event this week he's battled for the win with Kubota High Limit Racing since climbing in the Shane Liebig #10.
Closing out the top-10 on Friday was Brent Marks, Aaron Reutzel, Justin Peck, James McFadden, Corey Day, Tanner Thorson, and Jacob Allen.
