Snowball Derby activities are underway
PENSACOLA, Fla. — NASCAR Cup Series driver, and winner of the 51st Snowball Derby, Noah Gragson, is among the entrants competing to take home the Tom Dawson Trophy which goes to the winner of the 57th annual Snowball Derby this coming Sunday at Five Flags Speedway. The 300 lap race will be the culmination of a week long of activity which includes Saturday's Snowflake 100 for Pro Late Models.
Other past winners entered include Derek Thorn of Bakersfield, California, who triumphed in 2022 and newly crowned NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series champion Ty Majeski of Seymour, Wisconsin,gunning for his third Snowball Derby crown after winning in 2023 and 2020.
Meanwhile, Super Late Model superstars Bubba Pollard of Senoia, Georgia, and rival Stephen Nasse of Pinellas Park, Florida are both after their first Snowball Derby victory.
Cars are on track Thursday for a full day of practice with Qualifying on Friday evening and the Snowflake 100 on Saturday.
