MARTINSVILLE, Va.—Parker Kligerman will pilot the No. 48 Big Machine Records Chevrolet for the 2023 Xfinity Series season.

The Scott Borchetta-owned team debuted in the NXS 2021 season opener at Daytona that February. Tyler Reddick scored the team’s first win at Texas Motor Speedway in May of this year.

The new alliance allows for Big Machine and Kligerman to concentrate on running for the 2023 Xfinity title.

“Parker Kligerman is coming to Big Machine Racing at the perfect time," Borchetta said. "As our team continues to grow and put up real results, Parker has the experience and talent to take us next level. He has also become a staple in the NASCAR world with fans and industry alike and he will be a great ambassador for Big Machine Vodka SPIKED Coolers and our other brands. Excited for 2023!”

Kligerman has dabbled in stock cars since he was 17. The Westport, Connecticut racer has competed in the NASCAR top three tours and has enjoyed his greatest success in the Camping World Truck Series. In 110 truck starts, Kligerman has three wins and finished a career-best fifth in the truck standings in 2012.

The 32-year-old driver posted 30 Cup starts between 2012 and this year’s race at World Wide Technology Raceway, where he finished 31st running for Rick Ware Racing. Kligerman has competed in Xfinity Series from 2009 through this season. In his sole season of full-time competition, Kligerman drove for Kyle Busch Motorsports in 2013. He posted three top fives, 13 top 10s and finished ninth in the NXS standings.

"From getting the call in Mid-Ohio to our first run together at Talladega Big Machine Racing has felt like somewhere I want to be," Kligerman said. "I'm thrilled to be joining the championship-caliber team Scott Borchetta has put together and I can’t wait to continue the building process with the folks at Big Machine Vodka SPIKED Coolers. Let's have some fun and get a lot of checkered flags!”

Kligerman made his Big Machine Racing debut at Talladega Superspeedway on Oct. 1. He qualified ninth and finished sixth. He will have Big Machine Vodka Spiced Coolers sponsor his effort. In addition to his driving duties, Kligerman works as an analyst for NBC Sports.
