Chase Briscoe will remain behind the wheel of the No. 14 Ford Mustang for 2024 and beyond.

Stewart-Haas Racing announced a multi-year deal for the 28-year-old driver on Thursday which will solidify his role within the organization.

“Chase has made the most of every opportunity and the proof is in the results,” said SHR co-owner Tony Stewart. “Keeping him at SHR was a priority and we’re proud to have him in our racecars for many more years to come.”

The Mitchell, Indiana native was recruited by SHR in 2019. Briscoe scored 11 victories in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. The affable racer was promoted to Cup in 2021 and won NASCAR Cup Rookie-of-the-Year honors.

Briscoe enjoyed a breakout season in 2022. In March, he scored his first Cup win at Phoenix Raceway in his 40th career start. After securing his footing in the Playoffs, Briscoe battled to ninth place in the standings.

“Growing up in Indiana and racing sprint cars, the guy I always looked up to was Tony Stewart,” Briscoe said. “To be able to drive for him is a dream come true. To know I’ll have my name above the door of that No. 14 Ford Mustang for a really long time means a lot, and I’m ready to write my own history in it.

“Tony and Gene (Haas, owner) have built something really special in Stewart-Haas Racing and I’m incredibly proud to be a part of this organization.”

The third-generation racer honed his skills on dirt tracks throughout the Midwest. His dream to race in  NASCAR led the driver to North Carolina in 2014. Briscoe worked in a variety of capacities before an ARCA opportunity opened up with Briggs Cunningham III in 2015. In his two-race audition, Cunningham was so impressed by Briscoe that he signed him to a full-time schedule for 2016.

Briscoe’s performance and work ethic accelerated his career path to Brad Keselowski Racing in the Craftsman Truck Series in 2017 and then to the Xfinity tour. His first NXS victory came with SHR at the Charlotte Roval in 2018.

“I remember getting signed by Ford in 2017 and I told people, ‘You know, if I could pick one place to be, it would be Stewart- Haas Racing,” Briscoe said. “And if I could drive one car, it would be the 14 car. That would be the ultimate dream.’ And now, here I am.”

Briscoe will enjoy support from primary sponsors Mahindra Ag North America, HighPoint.com, Rush Truck Centers, Magical Vacation Planner, Ford Performance Racing School, Code 3 Associates, Cummins and Mobil Delvac 1 throughout 2023.

“It’s huge to have stability, with my team and my partners,” Briscoe added. “It just gives you more confidence. Stewart-Haas Racing is where I want to be for a long time. It’s the place I’ve known longer than anywhere else in my NASCAR career.”
