Lucas Oil Speedway UTV Short Course Round 2 postponed until May 16-17

WHEATLAND, Mo. — Due to the forecast of a rainy weekend, Round 2 of the UTV Short Course action at Lucas Oil Speedway has been postponed. It has been rescheduled for the May 16-17.

Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager Danny Lorton said that due to many race teams traveling several hours for the two-day UTV event he wanted to make the decision to postpone early to give the entrants, and fans, ample notice.

As of now, the dirt-track action scheduled for Saturday remains a go. Lorton said the weather will be monitored closely with a decision on that program to be made later in the week.

The $1,500-to-win Easter Bowl Enduro 150 headlines the scheduled dirt-track action. The Enduro race is scheduled to conclude the action, which includes three divisions of the Pitts Homes and Realty Weekly Racing Series - the Arctic Food Equipment Modifieds with a $1,000-to-win main event, the O'Reilly Auto Parts Stock Cars and Clear Creek Golf Cars USRA B-Mods.

Also scheduled to kick off the racing action, the Stock Cars are set to hold a makeup of their feature from Full Body Madness that was rained out on March 22nd. The winner will earn $1,500.

Pit and spectator gates are set to open at 4 p.m. with hot laps at 6:30 and opening ceremonies at 7.

RCR Junior Fan Club Pit Tour: The RCR Junior Fan Club Kids' Pit Tour continues with new Lucas Oil Speedway flagman Chris Loberg leading the way. Youngsters can sign up on the midway for the fan club before 5 p.m. and be a part of a drawing for a chance to join Loberg on a golf-car tour of the pits to meet drivers.
