Central Missouri Speedway Opening Night Victories to Galvan and Girard Before Rain Sets In

WARRENSBURG, Mo. — The 2025 season officially got under way on Saturday night at Central Missouri Speedway (CMS) as 75 race teams signed in across five divisions. There were 11 Midwest Mods, 19 Pure Stocks, 13 IMCA Race Saver 305 Sprints, 16 B-Mods, and 16 Super Stocks.

It took 11 heat races total to sort out the night’s lineups for the five main events. At the end of the night, Dakota Girard picked up the POWRi Midwest Mods feature while Chase Galvan raced to victory in the Pure Stocks.

Just as the IMCA Race Saver Sprints were ready to hit the track, the rain came forcing the end of racing for the night. The Sprint, B-Mod, and Super Stock features will be made up throughout the season.

Join us next week as the Super Late Model Racing Series (SLMR) out of Nebraska will headline the program along with Super Stocks, B-Mods, Pure Stocks, and Midwest Mods.
