Justin Peck's Redemption at Ransomville Delivers High Limit Win

RANSOMVILLE, N.Y.—Justin Peck has experienced all of the emotions this week with Kubota High Limit Racing; suffering the agony of defeat at Kokomo Speedway and the thrill of victory at Ransomville Speedway.
On Monday, he led 39 and 3/4 laps in the Driven2SaveLives Monday MAYhem, but lost the race by 0.101-seconds at the checkered flag in devastating fashion. He bounced back on Friday as the series traveled to New York and scored his first Kubota High Limit Racing victory since joining Rudeen Racing.
The Monrovia, Indiana native came from the outside of row two and trailed early leaders Tyler Courtney and Rico Abreu. The Ford Performance #26 came to life as lap traffic came into play, going by Abreu for second on Lap 13 and promptly passing Courtney for the lead on Lap 15.
Peck survived the one and only restart of the race on Lap 21 of 30, mostly enjoying clean air before back markers during the final two circuits created an eerily-similar situation to Monday as Reutzel and Courtney closed quickly. However, unlike last time, the #26 was not to be denied and Peck held on for his third-career trip to Whiskey Myers Victory Lane.
After a pair of wins with Buch Motorsports in 2023 at Kokomo Speedway and 2024 at Eldora Speedway, Peck has now delivered the first-ever Kubota High Limit Racing win for Rudeen Racing at Ransomville Speedway.
Making a last-lap move, Tyler Courtney put his Clauson-Marshall Racing, NOS Energy Drink #7BC into the runner-up position - making it consecutive finishes of 2nd, 4th, 4th, 2nd in the last week. "Sunshine" is now only 29-points out of the championship lead with Kubota High Limit Racing.
For the first time since late March at Central Arizona, Aaron Reutzel found his way back on the podium with Kubota High Limit Racing. The former Ransomville winner was bound for a P2 bid before slipping to third on the final lap aboard his Ridge & Sons Racing #87.
Rounding out the top-10 in Ransomville, New York was Rico Abreu, Danny Varin, Brent Marks, Jordan Poirier, Lucas Wolfe, Jonathan Preston, and Tanner Thorson.
