Central Missouri Speedway Hosts Two Nights of Racing Memorial Day Weekend

WARRENSBURG, Mo.—Central Missouri Speedway (CMS) will carry on a long-standing tradition of hosting special events racing on Saturday and Sunday, May 24 and May 25 during Memorial Day Weekend.

The action begins on Saturday, May 24 with a $1,000-to-Win Midwest Mods Track Special along with a $1,500-to-Win B-Mod race. Super Stocks and Guest Class 305 Sprints will also run on this night for regular purse money; Pure Stocks have the night off. The 305 Sprints will run a previously rained out make-up main event at the beginning of the night, then it’s an all-new night of racing for them. 

Sprint, B-Mod, and Super Stock drivers will pay for a $40 pit pass only. There is an entry fee for Midwest Mods as follows:  if the driver has raced twice at Central Missouri Speedway PRIOR to this race, the entry fee and pit pass is $50, for drivers who have not raced twice prior to this race, the entry fee is $65. Entries include a pit pass for Midwest Mod drivers. Points will be awarded in all classes except Midwest Mods.

B-Mod $1500-to-Win Payout (No Entry Fee). Pay 1) $1500, 2) $1000, 3) $800, 4) $600, 5) $400, 6) $300, 7) $200, 8) $175, 9) $150, 10) $150, 11) $150, 12) $150, 13) $150, 14) $130, 15) $125, 16) $120, 17) $115, 18) $110 19) $100, 20) $100, 21) $100, 22) $100, 23) $100, 24) $100.

Racing resumes on Sunday, May 25, featuring a 35-lap, $3,500-to-Win B-Mod Special Event. Super Stocks, Pure Stocks, and Guest Class 305 Sprints will compete for their regular purses. Midwest Mods have the night off on this night.

For Sprint, Pure Stocks, and Super Stocks, these drivers will pay a $40 pit pass only. There is an entry fee for B-Mods as follows:  if the driver has raced twice at Central Missouri Speedway PRIOR to this race, the entry fee and pit pass is $75, for drivers who have not raced twice prior to this race, the entry fee is $90. The entry fee includes the pit pass and entry fee for B-Mod drivers. The May 24th race will count towards the "two" appearances. Points will be awarded in all classes except B-Mods.

B-Mods "Track Special" event payout: 1) $3500, 2) $2000, 3) $1500, 4) $1000, 5) $800, 6) $600, 7) $500, 8) $450, 9) $400, 10) $350, 11) $300, 12) $250, 13th to 24th $200.
Weekend Admission Information: $20 Adult General Admission - Seniors 65 to 74 $15, $6 Kids Ages 6 to 12 - Kids 5 and Under Free. FREE: Seniors 75 and Up - Confined to Wheelchair. All Pit Passes are $40 regardless of age.

Weekend Timelines: Pit gates open at 4:30, Grandstands at 5, Driver Pill Draw Cutoff 6:15 (No passing points awarded if late), Pit Meeting 6:30, Hot Laps at 7, racing to follow at approximately 7:30.
