Lakeside Speedway would get our Berry Memorial started with Tim Gifford saying our Invocation and Lisa Jorden honoring our Troops and America with the singing of our National Anthem as Gary Myers carried our Flag around the track. We at Lakeside send out our sincerest condolences to the Davis Family as long-time racer Kerry Davis Grandmother passed away. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family in this time of sadness.

Tim Billings #25 and #56 Joseph Smith Jr would both win heat races setting the stage for the great feature to follow. Billings would take the lead early as Smith, Don Marrs #20X and Marshall Jewett #7 would all battle behind the leader for position. Tim Pruett #46 and Kaelub Jones #64 would fight their way to the front as Billings continued his assault on the rest of the field by pulling away to a commanding lead. Jewett would appear to have one of the fastest cars until a flat tire would end his feature taking him from contention. Billings would pull out to nearly a half lap lead in his own zip code and cross the finish line first. Billings third win of the 2025 season as he, family, and friends celebrated in Nextran Truck Center GMC Victory Lane. Smith would impress racing to a second place showing with Marrs third. Eddy Noll #15E is always in the mix for the front would race his way to finish fourth with Pruett bringing his #46 home in the fifth position.

E-Modified would see a caution filled feature as #51 Corey Myers and #6 Zach Boyd would win heat races and grace the front row. After many attempts at a double file start the field would start single file with Corey Myers, Jason Park #79J, #61 Jeff DeGroot and #8 Devin Dultmeier all challenging for the top spot. Myers would escape the challenges and pull out front as the cautions continued as time slipped away. Due to hitting the time limit the feature was cut short of laps with Myers picking up his ninth feature win of the 2025 season at Lakeside Speedway. After post race inspection DeGroot would place second with Jeff Goepferich Sr #5J third. Tony Sowers #86 would have a stellar night placing fourth and the rookie sensation Nathan Rhodes #17N would have his best night to date with a fifth place showing.

Action and drama filled would be an understatement for the USRA Stock Car Feature as #16S Chris Dishong and #74 Rodney Schweizer would win heat races to set the stage. As the green flag flew, Dishong would take the lead with Schweizer and Jaylen Wettengel #91J challenging. Justin Custer #88C would march to the front as well to challenge as Dishong would continue to lead. Contact between Wettengel and Dishong in turn four would send Wettengel to the rear and Dishong to the hot lane with a flat tire. Win contender Schweizer would be collected in the mayla taking him from the race. Custer would take over the top spot on the ensuing restart with Gene Claxton #42 in the mix as Eddy Noll #15E would mount a charge as well. Clint Hedge #105 would flex some muscle racing to catch the leaders as Custer continued to set the pace out front. Custer would not be denied and place his #88C in Nextran Victory Lane for the first time in 2025 at Lakeside Speedway. Jason Newman #11 would have a solid feature until mechanical issues took him from contention. Wettengel would recover and race to finish second with Noll third. Dishong would bounce back from the flat tire to place fourth with Hedge rounding out the night’s top five finishers.

USRA B-Modified would put on a spectacular feature with Tim Karrick #1k and #44S Mark Schafman winning heat races and starting up front. Karrick and Schafman would race side by side for the lead until Karrick would move ahead and pace the field early. Chad Clancy #57C would move to second only to hit a slick spot in turn four sending him through the infield and back several positions. Schafman would continue his challenge on Karrick with #8S Jon Sheets moving through traffic mounting a charge in the caution free feature. Michael Taylor III #6T would be in the mix and fade slightly in the closing laps as Aaron Marrant #57M was in the hunt moving to the third spot in the closing laps as Clancy would recover to challenge. Karrick would see the checkers first and park in Nextran Truck Center GMC Victory Lane. Mark Schafman in the Sammy Schuler prepared #44S would make some noise getting everyone’s attention placing a solid and impressive second. Third would go to Sheets with Marrant fourth and Clancy rebounding to finish top five.
