Central Missouri Speedway Kids’ Night Victories go to Ewing, Smith, Galvan, and Schultz

WARRENSBURG, Mo.—Drivers and fans were met with near-perfect weather conditions on Saturday for Kids’ Night at Central Missouri Speedway. A total of 60 race teams were on hand in the four weekly racing divisions, which included 17 Super Stocks, 13 B-Mods, 13 Pure Stocks, and 17 entries.

Fans witnessed a total of 10 heat races and five main events during the race program. Feature victories went to Blaine Ewing in Super Stocks, Brad Smith in B-Mods, Chase Galvan in Pure Stocks, and Alex Schultz in Midwest Mods. Full results are shown below.

The next generation of race fans had their own races on the track as boys and girls up to age 12 competed in their own divisional foot races during the intermission time break. Foot race winners included:  Girls 3-4 Lennyn Poe; Boys 3-4 Ryver Manny; Girls 5-6 Hallie Grace; Boys 5-6 James Reynolds; Girls 7-8 Samya Holmes; Boys 7-8 Jase Schlarb; Girls 9-10 Aubrey Jordan; Boys 9-10 Blake Gibson; Girls 11-12 Gracie Nighswonger; Boys 11-12 Colton Whitley.

Promoters Earl and Susan Walls provided a free drink, hot dog, and ice cream for kids 12 and under and the kids also received a free goodie back stuffed with trinkets, school supplies, and prizes and had a chance at going home with a new bike courtesy of the wonderful group of kids night donations from racers, track staff, and fans.

As a reminder, CMS will be taking a week off next weekend but will return to action in a big way on Saturday, August 16 for Midwest Coatings, LLC night at the races featuring a $3500-to-win B-Mod, 35-lap main event, plus Weekly Racing and 305 Sprints! Track points awarded in all divisions except B-Mods. Sanctioning points awarded in sanctioned divisions.
