Scott Bloomquist Memorial Up Next for FloRacing Night in America

BULLS GAP, Tenn.—FloRacing Night in America presented by Kubota rolls into Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tenn.) for the first time since 2021 this Thursday, Sept. 11.

The second annual Scott Bloomquist Memorial Scorcher takes center stage with a $20,000-to-win / $1,000-to-start finale for the Super Late Model division.

The event salutes the memory of National Dirt Late Model Hall of Famer Scott Bloomquist who passed away in August 2024. In last year’s inaugural event, Camaron Marlar raced past Dale McDowell to score the $10,000 victory.

On the heels of three series wins through six events, Bobby Pierce holds an 87-point advantage over Jonathan Davenport atop the miniseries standings with defending series champion, Ricky Thornton Jr. 114 markers back in third.

Brandon Sheppard, Brian Shirley, Hudson O’Neal, Nick Hoffman, Ryan Gustin, Dennis Erb Jr., and Garrett Alberson round out the current Top 10 in points.

A driver’s best eight finishes count toward the miniseries title, which offers $75,000 with perfect attendance, from a total point fund of over $137,000.

Jonathan Davenport has one win on the year and was victorious in the series last appearance at the 4/10-mile oval in 2021. Hudson O’Neal and Devin Moran each have one miniseries win this season.
