Following off weekend, Lucas Oil Speedway ready for busy October finish

WHEATLAND, MO.—Lucas Oil Speedway takes a scheduled weekend off before firing up a busy final month of the season with the Summit USRA Nationals next week.

The action is set to open with an open practice session on Sept. 30 from 6-9 p.m. Spectator admission will be free in the grandstands with pit passes $30 ($15 for kids 6-10). Five-day pit passes are $170 and ($80 for ages 6-10).

Everyone purchasing pit passes can save time upon arrival by signing the waiver online at https://lucasoilspeedway.speedwaiver.com/uokhv.

The remaining USRA Nationals schedule will find Modifieds, B-Mods, Stock Cars qualifying and hobby stock practice on Oct. 1; Modifieds, B-Mods, Stock Cars, Hobby Stock qualifying and Tuner practice Oct. 2; Modifieds, B-Mods, Stock Cars, Tuners and Hobby Stock qualifying Oct. 3; Modifieds, B-Mods, Stock Cars, Tuners, Hobby Stocks with last-chance races and finale-night features on Oct. 4.

Registration open for Big Buck 50, Fall Late Model Nationals: Registration is open for the 9th annual Hickamo Super Stocks Big Buck 50 Presented by Whitetail Trophy Hunt, set for Oct. 9-11. Entry is $150 per car prior to Oct. 1 and $175 after. Drivers can register at https://www.myracepass.com/tracks/1865/registrations/12419.

An open practice from 6-9 p.m. will be followed by time trial qualifying on Oct. 9 with heat races and dashes on Oct. 10 with alphabet mains and the 50-lap, $10,000-to-win feature on the final night.

The Late Model Fall Nationals Late Models also will be in action with full programs Oct. 10-11 with feature winners collecting $5,000 and $10,000, respectively. Entry is $125 per night and drivers can register online at https://www.myracepass.com/tracks/1865/registrations/12509.

UTV Short-Course finale: Round 6 of the UTV Side-by-Side Short Course racing on the Off Road track is set for Oct. 10-11. Tech and practice will be held on the first day with racing during the day on Oct. 11. Race classes include 200 stock: ages 5-12, 200 limited: ages 5-12, 250 modified: ages 7-12, 700cc and under: ages 10-15, youth 1k: ages 13-17, sportsman na: ages 14 and up, sportsman turbo: ages 14 and up, women's na: ages 13 and up, women's fi: ages 13 and up, vet na: ages 40 and over, vet fi: ages 40 and over, pro-am na: ages 18 and up, pro-am turbo: ages 18 and up, pro na: ages 18 and up, pro turbo: ages 18 and up.

High Limit Sprints Mid-Week: The Kubota High Limit Racing Series makes its second appearance at Lucas Oil Speedway with a Mid-Week show on Wednesday, Oct. 15. Kubota High Limit Sprint Car Series features top 410 Sprint Car drivers from around the country. Aaron Reutzel and Tyler Courtney won High Limit features at Lucas Oil Speedway in June.

Monster Trucks to finish: The traditional season-ending program at Lucas Oil Speedway is set for Oct. 25 as the O'Reilly Auto Parts Outlaw Monster Trucks-Eve of Destruction returns. Tickets for the always-popular event can be purchased in advance online.
