Severe Weather Threat Cancels LaSalle Showdown
LASALLE, Ill.—With the National Weather Service issuing a statement warning of severe weather including potential funnel clouds Saturday evening and weather models projecting a near 100-percent chance of rain throughout the night, World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series and SLS Promotions have agreed to cancel the LaSalle Showdown in the interest of fan and competitor safety.
