Jonathan Davenport Tops Full Moon FloRacing Night in America Peach Bowl

SENOIA, Ga.—Topping a feature event that had more twists and turns than the best afternoon soap opera, Jonathan Davenport collected $20,000 for the FloRacing Night in America presented by Kubota Friday night victory at Senoia (Ga.) Raceway.

The chaos-filled finale included a lap 27 for Davenport, who spun to miss a spun Tyler Millwood in front of him. Series officials deemed that Davenport spun to missed Millwood before contact was made and reinstated him as the leader.

While Davenport went on to pace the remainder of the finale, the full-moon antics were far from over. Exiting turn 3 on lap 45, 20th-starthing Bobby Pierce was spun from the Top 10, when he and Kyle Bronson made hard contact. However, Pierce kept his car running in reverse before spinning around to keep rolling as the caution lights flashed around the 3/8-mile oval.

Much like Davenport earlier in the race, Pierce received a redemption after officials decided that his tires never stopped moving. Via the blend rule he was reinstated in the position, in which he was running when the caution flew.

Davenport raced away from a persistent Tim McCreadie to finish second, while eighth-starting Devin Moran completed the podium.

Ryan Gustin finished fifth with Trey Mills recording a fifth-place finish.

Hudson O’Neal, Bobby Pierce, Garrett Alberson, Ethan Dotson, and Dennis Erb Jr. completed the Top-10 finishers.

With the final round of the season on the line on Saturday night at Senoia Raceway, 2023 series miniseries champion, Bobby Pierce holds a 27-point advantage over Jonathan Davenport.

Saturday’s program marks the ninth round of racing for the series in 2025 and with only a driver’s best eight points nights counting toward the title, this season’s battle is down to those two drivers. Bobby Pierce is looking to improve on his worst finish of the year, which equated to 48 points at Volunteer Speedway on September 11, while Davenport looks to improve on his worst points night of the year, which resulted in a 45 point outing at Eldora Speedway on June 4.

The series tiebreaker for season points is determined as follows:
1)Total number of wins
2)Total number of events entered
3)Total number of Top-5 finishes
4)Total number of Top-10 finishes

If drivers are tied on these four items, then they will be crowned co-champions, splitting first and second-place money

Hudson O’Neal, Brandon Sheppard, Ryan Gustin, Dennis Erb Jr., Brian Shirley, Nick Hoffman, and Garrett Alberson round out the Top 10 in the latest standings.

The weekend and the series season rolls to a close on Saturday night with a $30,000-to-win / $3,000-to-start, 75-lap finale headlining the night’s program. 604 Crate Late Models will share the spotlight with a complete program

Additionally, Saturday’s Sunoco Race Fuels Fast Qualifier in the Super Late Model division will receive a $500 bonus courtesy of Shenandoah Logistics.
