Grant TOPP’s Winter Dirt Games Practice at Ocala

OCALA, Fla.—Justin Grant, the winningest driver in Winter Dirt Games history, rose to the top of the chart as the fastest overall in Sunday afternoon’s practice session for the USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship at Florida’s Ocala Speedway.
Grant (Ione, California), an eight-time Winter Dirt Games feature winner, cruised the 3/8-mile D-shaped dirt track at a time of 14.856 seconds in his TOPP Motorsports/NOS Energy Drink – TOPP Industries – LA Poly/Maxim/Stanton Chevy.
Mitchel Moles (Raisin City, California) was second overall on the chart at 14.918, followed by Logan Seavey (Sutter, California) at 15.006, Chase Stockon (Fort Branch, Indiana) at 15.013 and C.J. Leary (Greenfield, Indiana) at 15.052.
Twenty-two cars and drivers participated in Sunday’s practice, with more teams expected to compete throughout the week.
Winter Dirt Games XVII Presented by Yokohama Tire begins with the season openers on February 9-10 at Barberville, Florida’s Volusia Speedway Park for the Federated Auto Parts DIRTcar Nationals. The week concludes with four consecutive nights of racing at Ocala Speedway on February 11-12-13-14.
