Mother nature claims Knoxville Raceway opener
KNOXVILLE, Ia.—Unfortunately, due to the projected forecast this Saturday with high winds and cold temperatures creating unsafe racing conditions, officials at Knoxville Raceway have decided to cancel the event scheduled for Saturday, April 18.
The 73rd Annual Pella Motors / Kraig Ford Season Opener has been rescheduled for Saturday, May 2, and will still feature FREE grandstand admission. All grandstand tickets issued for April 18 will be honored on the new date.
Practice Night has been rescheduled for Friday, May 1.
We now turn our attention to a big weekend ahead — the Premier Chevy Dealers Clash, featuring two exciting nights of the NOS Energy Drink World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series on Friday and Saturday, April 24 & 25.
