Heartland Modified Tour Weekend Canceled Due to Weather Conditions
MOBERLY, Mo.—Officials with the USRA Heartland Modified Tour presented by Real Racing Wheels have announced the cancellation of this weekend’s scheduled events at Moberly Motorsports Park and I-35 Speedway.
Persistent rain showers throughout the week have already impacted the region, and a high probability of rain Friday afternoon and evening has forced the cancellation of the Moberly Motorsports Park event.
Multiple factors including the weather forecast, economy, price of diesel fuel and I-35's contingency plan for their weekly racing program have allowed Series and Track officials to make the best decision in the interest of the series to cancel the Saturday April 18th Heartland Modified Tour event as well.
Information regarding potential reschedule dates, if applicable, will be announced at a later time.
