Chris Martin Stays Hot With ASCS Midwest Region Win At Stuart Speedway

STUART, Ia.—When you’re hot, you’re hot, and that’s exactly what it’s like right now for Iowa’s Chris Martin, who captured the season opening faceoff with the Malvern Bank ASCS Midwest Region presented by Hoosier Tire at Stuart Speedway.

The win is Martin’s first with the ASCS Midwest Region, and also counts as a victory with the Sprint Invaders, whose combined efforts put the evening’s car count at 41.

Just off his second career victory with the ASCS National Tour at the Salina Highbanks last week, Martin rolled closer to home on Sunday for the night’s $4,000 top dog challenge payday.

Rolling to the front from third, Martin was trailed by Austin McCarl to the checkered flag, with Chase Brown grabbing third. Seth Bergman finished fourth with Cam Martin picking up a dozen positions to complete the top-five.

The next event for the Malvern Bank ASCS Midwest Region presented by Hoosier Tire is Friday, May 8 at Iowa’s Eldon Raceway.

The 2026 season marks the 35th season of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the American Sprint Car Series National Tour, the ASCS Nation includes several regional tours, along with cooperating tracks and events throughout the United States.
