PA locals Zarin, Miley Score WOO Late Model Prelim Wins at Marion Center

MARION CENTER, Pa.—The western Pennsylvania fans got to see a couple of their own celebrate in Victory Lane on Friday night at Marion Center Raceway.
The World of Outlaws Late Model Series presented by DIRTVision contested a pair of split-field, $6,000-to-win Features to open Connor Bobik Memorial weekend, with Pittsburgh-area natives Logan Zarin and Jared Miley scoring the victories.
Feature 1
The front row was occupied by two drivers seeking their first win at the national level in nine-year World of Outlaws veteran Brent Larson and MD3 Rookie of the Year hopeful Logan Zarin. The Hookstown, PA driver powered around the top of Turns 1 and 2 on the opening lap and began using his years of Marion Center experience in local and regional action to build a gap to the field.
It didn’t take Zarin long to reach traffic, but it never became an issue as he sliced his way through the slower cars. By the end of 25 laps, the No. 1Z was all alone at the front of the field as Zarin took the checkers for the biggest win of his career.
The first few months of Zarin’s rookie campaign with The Most Powerful Late Models on the Planet have brought plenty of trying times, but a week in familiar territory has brought some positive momentum. He opened the week with a top-15 run at Georgetown Speedway before finishing in a career-best 12th at Selinsgrove Speedway the night prior to his Marion Center triumph. Now that he’s gotten a taste of victory, he’s looking forward to continuing the chase for his first full-field World of Outlaws victory.
“This is crazy, man,” Zarin said in Victory Lane. “We’ve been getting our asses kicked on the road, but it’s nice to come home and finally get one. I haven’t won a Super [Late Model] race in a long time, so this one’s cool.”
Larson held on for a solid second-place result, while Tyler Erb rounded out the top three.

In Zarin’s three seasons racing with the United Late Model Series (ULMS), one name he battled on the regular was Pittsburgh, PA’s Jared Miley.
The western Pennsylvania regional standout started on the outside of the third row while Ryan Montgomery and Tristan Chamberlain led the field to green. Montgomery cleared Chamberlain through Turns 1 and 2, but Chamberlain got a good run on the bottom exiting Turn 2 to get back alongside Montgomery and slid him into Turn 3 to take the lead.
Once Chamberlain got to the front, he held his own through several restarts until Lap 7, when Miley came knocking. The driver of the No. 10M went to Chamberlain’s outside into Turn 3 and beat him back to the flag stand to take command before the caution came out half a lap later.
“The Jet” held off a hard-charging Dustin Sorensen the rest of the way to win his first Late Model race since a local victory at Marion Center in August of 2025, and his first against the World of Outlaws since his maiden Series win at Port Royal Speedway in 2022.
“Hats off to my brother, he put a great setup under this thing,” Miley said. “It was good from Hot Laps on, it was like, spot on all night, almost. I kind of messed up a little in Qualifying, but the track was kind of how I like it. Right in the middle, we could pretty much maneuver wherever.”
Sorensen came up a few car lengths short in second, while Chamberlain held onto third.
