American Big Rig Series joins the action this Saturday at Lucas Oil Speedway

WHEATLAND, Mo.—As Lucas Oil Speedway celebrates its 20th anniversary season, it will host a first this Saturday night when the American Big Rig Racing Series pays a visit to the dirt oval.
American Big Rig Racing was founded in 2023 with the goal of providing high-quality racing experiences for fans across the nation. ABRR is a driver-owned corporation that races on both dirt and paved ovals across the nation.
This unique racing series - with 12,000-pound trucks producing 1,000 horsepower - will visit 15 different states in 2026. The range as from as far west as Oklahoma, east to North Carolina and north to the state of New York.
Competitive manufacturers in the series range from Peterbilt to Freightliner, Kenworth, Volvo and Mac. All trucks in competition were at one time working trucks, with only slight competitive modifications.
The American Big Rig Series was on the dirt in Owensboro, Ky., last weekend at Windy Hollow Speedway, with 12 trucks battling it out in the feature. Austin Hoppe of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, came home the winner with Nicholas Black of Clyde, N.C., finishing second.
Also in action on Saturday will be the Hermitage Lumber Late Models, Arctic Food Equipment USRA Modifieds and Hickamo Super Stocks.
Pit and grandstand gates open at 4 p.m. with hot laps at 6:30 and opening ceremonies at 7.

Beat the Heat seats are available in the suites. They are available only at the gate for $50. For credit cards, fees will apply.
