Tyler Johnson tops Midwest Lightning Sprints at Valley Speedway

GRAIN VALLEY, MO.—The Wholesale Batteries Midwest Lightning Sprints were at Valley Speedway on Sat nite for first race of at Valley of the 2026 season.   Thank you to Dennis Shrout for inviting us to race at your great facility this season. Our next race is on Sat. June 6th at Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex in Sweet Springs, MO.  The racing in the Midwest Lightning Sprints is fiercely competitive.  With low-cost maintenance and motorcycle power, this is still the most economical way to go fast in a race car.  These cars are 1 1/2 seconds a lap faster than an A Mod or a Late Model.  New drivers/cars are coming out each week.  Contact the MLS for info.
