Storms Cancel Friday’s High Limit Debut at Minnesota’s I-94 emr Speedway

FERGUS FALLS, Minn.—A gorgeous afternoon at I-94 emr Speedway quickly turned sour when sudden thunderstorms brought heavy downpour and doused the facility around 2:00pm. Unfortunately, the deluge was enough to rain out Friday’s event, which has been canceled after Interstate Batteries High Limit Racing series officials and track personnel agreed that no suitable reschedule date was available.

All pre-sale ticket orders will be refunded to their original form of payment. Any questions regarding ticketing can be e-mailed to tickets@highlimitracing.com.
The series will now head for Mandan, North Dakota – just outside the Bismarck capital - to debut at Dacotah Speedway on Saturday, June 6.

Following that, the Roto-Rooter Midweek Series will fire back up next week with two big nights involving the $55,555-to-win FK Rod Ends Eagle Nationals on Tuesday, June 9 and the Iowa Lottery Shelby County Showdown on Thursday, June 11.

Entering the weekend, Aaron Reutzel and the Ridge & Sons Racing, PowerPlus #87 team lead a historically tight championship battle with Interstate Batteries High Limit Racing. Behind them by one single point is Rico Abreu and the Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing, Carquest #24 team with Giovanni Scelzi and the Spire Motorsports, Chili's #77 team in tow back 35-points.
