ELMA, Wash.— Round 4 of the Fastest Five Days with the NARC King of the West 410 Sprint Car Series was won by Trey Starks, who led all twenty five laps of the main at Grays Harbor Raceway for night one of the Timber Cup.
From the outset of the night, Starks showed extreme speed, qualifying fourth fastest and winning his heat, earning a spot in the dash. After winning the dash, Starks would start on the front row of the main event where he rolled out to an early lead that would not be eclipsed. Starks would take the win ahead of James McFadden, who made a run up to second after a dynamic battle with Tim Kaeding. Kaeding would take third. Brock Zearfoss and Justin Sanders were the other heat race winners.
Alex Peck was the winner for the NW Focus Midget main event in their fourth and final race of the Fastest Five Days. Peck took the lead from Michael Vollbrecht on lap five and ran away for the win, with Doug Davenport taking second and Vollbrecht running third. Peck and Brad Aumen won the heat race while Davenport was the fastest qualifier.
