Rain Cancels Summer Nationals at Dubuque Fairgrounds Speedway
DUBUQUE, Ia.—Heavy rainfall over Dubuque Fairgrounds Speedway prior to Hot Laps Thursday has left the track surface and facility in unsuitable conditions for a safe and efficient race program, leading DIRTcar and track officials to cancel tonight’s DIRTcar Summer Nationals event.
The track has issued ticket refunds at the main gate.
The DIRTcar Summer Nationals’ 40th anniversary season continues in the next event at Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, IL, on Friday, June 19, alongside the DIRTcar Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals. Tickets for the event will be sold at the track on race day.
