Rain Cancels Friday Program at 141 Speedway, Saturday On As Scheduled

MARIBEL, Wisc.—Due to the rain and thunderstorms that impacted the Maribel, WI area throughout Friday evening and rendered the track unsafe for racing, and with more rain forecasted for the remainder of the night, officials from the World of Outlaws Late Model Series presented by DIRTVision and 141 Speedway have agreed to cancel Friday’s portion of the Maribel Late Model Showdown.

The decision was made in consultation with Precision Weather Service, prioritizing the safety and best interest of race fans and teams. The event will not be made up.

If you purchased a ticket for Friday’s race, bring it back on Saturday for admission to Saturday’s race for an additional $5. If you purchased a pit pass for Friday’s race, it will be valid on Saturday at no additional charge. If you purchased a two-day ticket online, you will receive a refund to your original form of payment for Friday’s race.

The focus shifts to Saturday, which features a 60-lap, $25,000-to-win, World of Outlaws main event. Pit gates will open at 2PM, followed by grandstand gates at 3PM, a driver autograph session in the midway at 4PM and Hot Laps at 6PM. Tickets can be purchased in advance by clicking here.
