Friday Night Frenzy plus Saturday's Road to the Hockett this week at Lucas Oil Speedway

WHEATLAND, MO.—Lucas Oil Speedway is going to be a busy place later this week with a variety of racing action scheduled at two of its venues over a three-day period, June 26-28.

The dirt oval is busy on back-to-back nights, led off by Friday Night Frenzy with the Red & Tacky 150 Enduro. Hickamo Super Stocks, Midwest Modifieds and Legends have full programs before the 150-lap Enduro feature, a no-holds-barred event in which action will remain green. for 150 laps unless imminent danger for a blocked track or dangerous situation calls for a stoppage.

Enduro drivers can register online with Lucas Oil Speedway with a deadline to save $30 for registration ending on Wednesday, June 24th. After that registration will be $150.

Gates on Friday will open at 4 p.m. with hot laps at 6:30 and racing at 7.


Friday night admission:

Adults (13 and over) - $15 cash, $17 card
Seniors (62 and over)/Military - $12 cash, $14 card
Youth (6-12) - $9 cash, $11 card
Kids (5 and under) - FREE
Beat the Heat Suite Ticket - $30 cash, $33 card
Pit pass (6 and over) - $40 cash, $44 card
Pit pass (5 and under) - $10 cash, $12 card


Then on Saturday night it's open-wheel racing as the Rod End Supply Road to the Hockett Round 2 will feature POWRi 410 Outlaw Sprints, POWRi WAR Sprints and 305 IMCA RaceSaver Sprints competing. Road to the Hockett series points champs after the four races in the POWRi 410 Winged Springs and POWRi WAR will receive an automatic bid into this fall's 16th annual Jesse Hockett-Daniel McMillin Memorial, Sept. 17-19.

Other remaining rounds on the Rod End Supply Road to the Hockettare set for Aug. 1 and Championship Night on Aug. 22. Feature winners in Round 1 on May 16 were Joel Myers (410 Winged Sprints), Jack Wagner (WAR Sprints) and Peyton White (305 Sprints).

Saturday night also will be Luau Night night with fans invited to come to the races decked out in their finest Luau attire to get $5 off an adult genera admission ticket. The first 250 fans also will receive a coupon for a free all-beef hot dog courtesy Lucas Cattle Company, valid only that night.

Gates open at 4 p.m. with hot laps at 6 and racing at 6:30 on Saturday.

Rounding out the full weekend is Short Course Side-by-Side Outlaw Series in daytime action June 26-28 on the off road course. Competing divisions in the Off Road include Mini Stock, Mini Limited, Mini 180-204, Mini Mod, 570-800, Youth NA Restricted, Youth NA, Sportsman NA, Sportsman Turbo, Pro Am NA, Pro Am Turbo, Pro NA, Pro NA Unlimited, Pro SxS and Vet 40-and-over Turbo.
