Action Resumes with Weekly Racing and Show-Me Vintage Series Saturday at Central Missouri Speedway!

(Warrensburg, Missouri) The annual week off after Independence Day is now in the review mirror for Central Missouri Speedway (CMS) drivers, fans, and officials as action is set to return to the track Saturday evening for Comfort Inn, Warrensburg Station night at the races.

Located at 609 East Russell Avenue in Warrensburg, Missouri, just off Highway 50, the Comfort Inn Warrensburg Station hotel features free high-speed Internet access. Morning breakfast is full of hot and delicious options, as guests receive a free hot breakfast. The hotel features a heated pool and hot tub or use the on-site exercise room. Business travelers will appreciate the access to copy and fax services, wireless high-speed Internet access in the lobby and the on-site meeting room. Each guest room contains 32-inch flat-screen TVs, microwaves, refrigerators, coffee makers, hair dryers, irons, ironing boards and cable TV.

All four POWRi-sanctioned divisions, including B-Mods, Super Stocks, Midwest Mods, and Pure Stocks, will hit the track for a full night of action. The Show-Me Vintage Series racers join the action on Saturday as well, to set up an exciting night of preliminary heat races and main events.

Previous winners in the four main divisions included Stephen Clancy B-Mods, Marc Carter Super Stocks, Devin Wetzel Midwest Mods, and Bradley McDowell in Pure Stocks. Earlier in the season during the Show-Me Vintage Series’ first appearance, Daniel Schmidt took the win after early leaders Damon Clevenger and Tom Charles encountered troubles. Note, mention of driver name in print does not guarantee race appearance.

As announced last week, several additions were made to the remaining schedule. Drivers and fans are encouraged to review the upcoming schedule of events for July 29, Labor Day weekend on September 2 and 3, and the September 16 return of the Hog Roast Nationals. Classes affected include B-Mods, Super Stocks, and Midwest Mods.

There are several methods to review the track’s schedule. The track’s website is updated several times per week at www.centralmissourispeedway.net. Each week, the track posts a pre- and post-race press release before and after every event and the schedule is conveniently located on the main page.

Events are updated and posted to the track’s Facebook page, as well as current events and announcements. The page is found at www.facebook.com/pages/Central-Missouri-Speedway.

Recently, the track resurrected its video presence on the CMS YouTube page. Pre- and post-race reports, race recaps, and full events are conveniently found at www.youtube.com/@cmsgoinggreen418/videos.

Lastly, check out the track’s MyRacePass profile page at www.myracepass.com/tracks/1296. Here, drivers and fans can review the schedule, news, standings, stats, and much more. CMS highly encourages everyone to visit and bookmark each of these outlets to stay in tune with all things CMS.
