Gail and Karen Hampel Memorial postponed to July 29

(Corning, IA) -- Overnight rains coupled with the high likelihood for additional rain through the day has forced ACS officials to cancel tonight’s racing action. In speaking with SLMR officials we feel this is the right decision with many of the SLMR Late Model teams traveling from 2-4 hours away, making the call early will allow drivers and fans to make other plans.

The Gail & Karen Hampel Memorial along with the Modified “Underdog Design 22” will now become an even bigger spectacle when both shows headline the return of the SLMR on July 29th for the ACS HOKER TRUCKING EAST VS MALVERN BANK WEST Late Model Showdown. All added Bonus money from this weekend’s rainout will move to the July 29th event.
