I-35 Speedway returns to action this Saturday July 29

Winston, MO —  Nonstop racing action continues this Saturday at I-35 Speedway, July 29, 2023. Exciting three and four wide racing, fast run racing program completed by 10:20 after starting on time at 7:00 P.M. last week. This week is Nodaway Valley Bank Night at the Races weekly racing program.

The USRA Modifieds, Medieval USRA Stock Cars, USRA B Mods, E Mods, Pure Stocks, Sport Compacts, Junior Sport Compacts, and Midwest Limited Late Models, will all be in competition. At intermission the Power Wheels take the track, so Mom and Dad load the Power Wheels and bring them with you.

With the heat wave in the area – hot laps will start at 7:00 P.M. with racing immediately at the conclusion of hot laps. The grandstands at I-35 Speedway are shaded by that time.

Through fifteen weeks of racing let’s check how many different drivers have won a race. In the USRA Modifieds there have been five different winners, five drivers have claimed victory in the USRA B Mods, eight different drivers have taken the checkered in the USRA Medieval Stock Cars, eight drivers have won in the Pure Stocks, six drivers have come home first in the Economy Mods, three different winners in the Sport Compacts, four racers have a win in the Limited Late Models, and three different Sport Compact competitors have claimed a victory this year.

As a race fan you always get the most racing for your money at I-35 Speedway. Our weekly average of heat and feature races is 26. Make your plans to be part of the racing at I-35 Speedway! This is the track where fun always finishes first! We look forward to seeing you this Saturday!

RACE FAN INFORMATION:

Gates open at 4:30 P.M. Adults $15, Senior and Military $12, Youth – 18 and under Free (ID may be requested). Located at Exit 64 off Interstate 35 (1/4 east of Interstate). Free Parking. Mom approved restrooms.

Concessions at Trackside Bar and Grill (Turn 1) and at gate entrance (Turn 4) - funnel cakes, chili dogs, large tenderloins, hot fries, walking tacos, hot dogs, hamburgers, popcorn, and tea, water, pop, coffee, hot chocolate or beer.

McCarthy Auto Group Upgrades: Be on the lookout for the McCarthy Auto Group upgrades. Upgrading fans with suite seats, pit passes, and food vouchers each week!

DRIVER AND PIT CREW INFORMATION:

Pit gates open at 4:00 P.M. Driver’s meeting and pill draw close 6:30 P.M., Hot Laps 7:00 P.M. First heat race: immediately after hot laps conclude.

Pit passes: Drivers $35, Pit Crew and Pit Spectators $40, Kids 6-10 $25, Kids under 5 – Free.

I-35 Speedway Driver registration: Register with I-35 Speedway (myracepass.com) or print form at www.i-35speedway.net complete and bring with you. One-night temporary registration $15.

USRA Classes: Must be registered with USRA, only temporary one night license can be sold at track $10, Alternative B-Mod USRA rules apply. USRA rules – United States Racing Association | Downloads (usraracing.com)

Fuel (110 and Premium) is available for sale at the track. American Racer tires are also for sale at the track. Also available Champion Race Products (oil, power steering fluid, brake fluid, gear oil).

Minors (17 and under): Everyone age 17 and under must have a completed Minor’s release to enter pits.

Competitors Minor’s Release: Must be a completed Minor’s release for all competitors 17 and younger AND it must include a copy of the birth certificate with either a valid state stamp or authentic seal.
