Andrew Deal takes ASCS Fuzzy Fling opener at Creek County

SAPULPA, Okla. — Winning in nearly every form of open wheel competition across Oklahoma, the long-awaited win with the American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Sooner Region presented by Smiley's Racing Products finally came during Friday's Fuzzy's Fall Fling preliminary A-Feature at Creek County Speedway.

The 75th driver to add his name to the list of ASCS Sooner Region winners, Deal, took off from the right of the second row. Racing inside the top three the opening eight revolutions before finally getting the point from Tanner Conn on Lap 9, Deal went unchallenged for the $2,000 top prize.

Moving up from fifth, Wayne Johnson crossed second with Alex Sewell moving ninth to third. Leading the first five laps, Elijah Gile slipped to fourth, with Casey Wills moving up three spots to complete the top five.

Factory Stocks on track as well; Jason Sperry led from start to finish for the $500 score. Matt French grabbed second, followed by Mark Norwood, Robert Scott, and Matt Norwood to complete the top five.

Fuzzy's Fall Fling continues on Saturday, October 21. Grandstands open at 4:00 P.M. with racing at 6:30 P.M. (CDT). Tickets are $20 for adults, $5 for youth (11-14), and free for kids ten and under. Creek County Speedway is located at 18450 West Hwy. 66 between Sapulpa and Kellyville.
