Short Track Nationals Rained Out

Texarkana, Ark. — Excessive rain on Thursday has forced the cancellation of the entirety this weekend’s 36th Annual COMP Cams Short Track Nationals presented by Hoosier Tires & Ark-La-Tex Lawn and Landscape at Texarkana 67 Speedway the track announced via social media on Friday morning.

"Well everyone we tried to get this race in. We watched all of the local weather channels and they stated this morning they were wrong with the forecasted amounts of rain. We are sincerely sorry for those that drove in and for the campers that are already in place. Mother Nature has ruined about 10 of our races for 2023. With the constant changing forecast and the rain we received already we unfortunately are forced to cancel the event.

We appreciate the support we’ve received at 67 Speedway. We will regroup over the winter and start working on a schedule for 2024!"
